Events in blue text are children's events, and events in black text are for adults and/or teens. All events are clickable links to see the event details and descriptions.

    Over 80 Magazine titles like Golf Digest, The Economist, Vanity Fair are available for download to your smartphone, tablet, or home computer. This session will provide an introduction to downloading the magazines to your device through the library’s subscription to Zinio for Libraries.

    Sign up for a 15-minute slot to read some of your favorite stories to a trained therapy dog. Wilmette and Kenilworth residents only, grades 1-5. K-9 Reading Buddies of the North Shore is a Therapy Dogs International Children Reading to Dogs Program. Sign-up starts February 22.

    Want to play chess with other kids who love the game? Drop by for informal, fun competition supervised by parent volunteers. Bring chess sets and pieces, if possible. All levels of players are welcome, but prior knowledge of the pieces and how they move is helpful. Space is limited to the first 24 players to arrive.
