In addition to the series below, the Library frequently hosts short-term series on history and culture. Recent series have focused on the city of Chicago, World War I, and the musical Hamilton. Armchair Travels

Explore the world from the comfort of the auditorium. Enjoy light refreshments and learn from a travel presenter or DVD each week. This series is funded by a gift by the Rutherford Family Trust.

Gather with members of the community in this bi-monthly group to discuss a range of current events. Moderated by Don Levinthal, this group provides lively conversation and plenty of coffee.

The Library is committed to helping create a greener world, and this series explores the many ways you can be greener, too. In partnership with Go Green Wilmette, this series presents speakers and screens documentaries that focus on a variety of environmental issues.
