We welcome all children who meet program guidelines to our events. However, we understand that some kids have special needs that make attending certain programs challenging.

Listed below are sensory-friendly movie screenings and encounters with outside performers. Also listed are programs that, while not designed specifically for kids with special needs, may have particular appeal.

Sensory-Friendly Events

  • Halloween Storytime

    When: Saturday, October 25, 2014 - 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
    Where: Youth Program Room

    Ghosts and goblins and witches, oh my! Enjoy seasonal stories, songs, and a craft that are more silly than spooky. Costumes encouraged. For ages 3 and up. No registration required.

  • Pajama Storytime

    When: Wednesday, December 03, 2014 - 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM

    Come in your PJs and bring your favorite blankie or lovie for bedtime stories, songs, and a craft. For ages 3 and up. No registration required.
