tweensThe Wilmette Public Library offers programs for kids in grades 5–8. The Kids’ Library Council meets regularly to do art, technology, and book-related activities and also to plan events and spaces for the Library. We also offer technology programs and occasional special interest activities.

  • Kids' Library Council
    When: Monday, September 21, 2015 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Where: Youth Program Room

    Help the KLC make plans for the new school year. Also, get ready for school by decorating your school supplies. Bring your own notebooks, text books, and other items. We'll provide the art supplies. Snacks will be served. Grades 5-8. Sign-up starts September 8 for Wilmette and Kenilworth residents; September 14 for nonresidents.

    When: Monday, October 12, 2015 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Where: Youth Program Room

    Share your ideas for WPL's new junior high area. Make your own erasers out of modeling clay, plus decorate pens and pencils. Snacks will be served. Grades 5-8. Sign-up starts September 28 for Wilmette and Kenilworth residents; October 5 for nonresidents.
