tweensThe Wilmette Public Library offers programs for kids in grades 5–8. The Kids’ Library Council meets regularly to do art, technology, and book-related activities and also to plan events and spaces for the Library. We also offer technology programs and occasional special interest activities.

    When: Monday, November 10, 2014 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Where: Youth Program Room

    Do you love the Library? Do you have lots of ideas to make it even better? Join us for a meeting of our Kids' Library Council to do fun activities and plan library spaces and programs for kids in 5th to 8th grades. Plus, make e-books that will be posted on the library's website. For grades 5-8. Registration starts October 27 for Wilmette and Kenilworth residents; November 3 for nonresidents.

  • Tangled Snowflakes

    When: Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
    Where: Auditorium

    Learn the basics of tangling, a popular form of doodling that's fun and relaxing, then design your own unique tangled snowflakes. Led by artist Christine Thornton. Grades 5-8. Registration starts December 9 for Wilmette & Kenilworth residents, December 16 for nonresidents.
