At the graduation, AJ threw up his graduation hat and it hit the torch and it fell down and made a fire. Mrs. Dole rented a petting zoo, fighter jets and the president. Every time Mrs. Dole showed up Ryan hid under his chair or his desk. This book was five stars because it was so, so, so funny!

Book Cover The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
Cassandra Clare

This book is about a girl, Clary, who begins to see strange people. The people, she discovers, are demon hunters, and only she and a few other people can see them. The rest of the book is full of twists as Clary is taken into the world of these demon hunters, called Shadowhunters. The movie comes out this August, and it's definitely one I want to see! It's quite long, but worth the read. I'd recommend it to people who have just finished sixth grade and up.

Book Cover The Great Tree of Avalon: Shadows in the Stars
T.A. Barron

This is the second book of the trilogy and it starts right were the first stopped. Scree, Elli, and Tamwyn are forced to part ways to confront the evil Rita Gawr. Undertaking three quests at once they must all succeed if they want to save Avalon. I realy enjoyed this book but the end is a cliffhanger. That being said there is a third book that will probably conclude it all

Book Cover The Great Tree of Avalon: Child of the Dark Prophecy
T.A. Barron

This book was very interesting and had a great plot. It is set in a mystical tree of Avalon where three unlikely companions have to band together to stop the evil spirit Rita Gawr. I thought it was very entertaining because the characters were very developed and there was lots of action.
