This is a really good book about a girl, Emily, who moves across the country from New Jersey to California. Her parents are divorced and her father is (supposedly) on tour with his band. Her mother is a crazy journalist who Emily can't confide in whatsoever. I really liked this book. I read a different book by this author and hated it, but my friend said this one was good, so I read it and it was!

The Talking T. Rex is about three kids and a few other people. The three kids names are Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose and they are the main characters. The main idea is that Jud, Scoop,and Dean bought this giant action figure of a dinosaur. he bought the dinosaur to raise money. the dinosaur is a T. Rex. You can step into the T. Rex's stomach. Inside the stomach there is a computer. The computer controls the T. Rex. This book is a mystery book. I liked this book!

This book is about a beetle named Marvin. Marvin and his family live behind a hole in a cupboard in a rich New York City family's apartment. The nicest one in the family is an 11- year old named James who receives a pen-and-ink set for his birthday. When Marvin goes to deliver a nickel to James (without being seen) he sees the ink and some paper and can't resist. Marvin draws a beautiful picture. James sees this and wonders who did it. Marvin shows himself to James, and James takes all the credit for the picture. (which is okay with Marvin, because nobody would believe that a beetle did it) Then James is chosen for his special drawing skills to help retrieve a stolen piece of art! This is a crazy book! It is about a kid named Wahoo (yes, that's his real name) whose dad is a professional animal wrangler. They are running out of money, and right when everything looks bad, Wahoo's dad, Mickey, scores a contract with a TV show called Expedition Survival! Sadly, the show's host is an idiot fake "survivalist" who doesn't actually do his own stunts. On the way to a shoot in the Everglades, Wahoo spies a girl he recognizes from school. Her name is Tuna. Her father is an abusive drunk with a gun and she needs to hide from him. So Wahoo takes her along. This book is really crazy (shocker!). But that's what makes it good.

This book is about four girls named Lena, Bridget, Tibby and Carmen. They are all best friends and have never been a part for the summer. This summer they are all apart. Lena's in Greece visiting her grandparents. Bridget is in California during a soccer camp and being a show off. Tibby is at home helping her mom cook. Carmen went to North Carolina to visit her dad and found out her was getting married. They all have this special pair of pants that fit them all just perfectly! Each one of them get to have it for a week and then send it off to the other person. They all have difficult summers, but overcome them by writing to each other and having each other be there for them!

In this book Flat Stanley Got Invisible in the night. In the Morning Stanley Mom and Dad called out boys wake up. Then Arthur came down and said Stanley is invisible. When Stanley was invisible he was on a T.V show and there was robbers who where stealing money from the bank the robbers were dressed as women but they were men. Read this book and find out if Stanley get back normal! I liked this book because it was really exciting and funny.
