Book Cover The Wright 3
Blue Balliett

The Wright 3 is about three friends named Tommy, Calder and Petra. A very old house in their town is about to come down, and it's up to them to save it. But in the process, they discover some thieves who are trying to steal some of the stain-glass windows. Double trouble! I loved the book because it's very intense and no matter where I stopped I was on a cliff-hanger.

Book Cover The Corn Grows Ripe
Dorothy Rhoads

I thought this book was much too for any 6th grade level. The story line was pretty good, but there were a few chapters that were unnecessary and off-topic. I did like the lesson learned by the main character and the author wrote a good parable, to explain it.
