Teen Advisory Board/Craft Wednesdays

In 2017 the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) will focus on crafts while we discuss potential library programing.

 

DIY Teen Room Wednesday: Paint Your Own Mug

No experience necessary! You'll be able to draw on mugs with sharpies in any design of your choosing. Registration is required via the online calendar or call the Library at: 847-256-5025.  Open to ages 13 and up.  Space is limited! 

 

The Whos, Whats, Whens and Hows:

-We meet to talk about programs that teens want to see at their Library

-The Teen Advisory Board plays a valuable role for the Library and the community by giving teens a chance to have their voice heard

-Attendance is open to any interested teens in the Kenilworth and Wilmette communities

-Meetings typically last one hour with refreshments

-Staff youth programs, serve as school liaisons and ambassadors to the teen community

-If you need volunteer credit, the TAB meetings count towards those hours

Programs sponsored by the Teen Advisory Board include pizza exam nights, free feature film screenings, gaming tournaments, Summer Reading Program, writing workshops, concerts, poetry workshops, and much more.
