  • Scratch with Digital Adventures

    Where: Youth Program Room

    Design a game similar to dodgeball using this digital media design program. Staff from Wilmette's Digital Adventures, which offers coding classes and technology camps for kids, will lead the class. Grades 5-8. Registration starts August 3 for Wilmette & Kenilworth residents, August 10 for nonresidents.
  • Family PlayLab: Life-sized Candyland
    When: Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Where: Youth Program Room

    Follow the rainbow path around a life sized version of this classic board game. Complete the game and receive a royal lollipop. All ages.

  • Current Events Roundtable

    Current Events Roundtable is the place to enjoy your second cup of coffee along with a roundup on the leading national, international and local news of the day. Moderated by Deerfield resident Don Levinthal, the group covers all points on the political spectrum. Newcomers are welcome.
  • Solar Eclipse Day
    When: Monday, August 21, 2017 - 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    Stop in between noon and 3 for refreshments and information about the solar eclipse scheduled to begin at approximately noon in our area. The NASA live stream of the event will be running on our big screen in the Auditorium. A limited supply of approved glasses for viewing the solar eclipse will be available. Materials for making a pinhole viewer will be available.
  • Writers Group

    This group meets weekly and offers peer reviews of submitted works within a supportive environment. Facilitator Julie Johnson coordinates the group. Newcomers welcome.
